Philatelic Society of Lancaster County

The James Buchanan Chapter #173 of the American Philatelic Society
Chapter #118 of the American Topical Association

The Henoch T. Rod Philatelic Library

This new section of the Philatelic Society of Lancaster County (PA) library was donated in loving memory of Henoch T. Rod, the late father of our member Steven J. Rod. His dad started Steven’s collecting at Gimbel’s Stamp Department for his 9th birthday with a brand-new “All American Album.” We are eternally grateful for this kind gesture; which affords us the opportunity to share information and advance the knowledge of United States stamps and postal history by means of educational and historical research, which is a key tenant of the Society.
